Fielders ratings not displaying properly

I noticed when you put the curser over the players name who are in the field, a little drop down displays the players fielding ratings (range, hands, arm). This is great feature expect it doesn't always display the fielding rating, on some players it displays the batting ratings (contact, power, eye). I am playing the 27 A's against the 27 Yanks right now and Cobb (CF), Bishop (2B) and Hale (3B) all display offensive ratings instead of defensive ratings. Is this a bug? Seems like it.
