bug report - aircraft losses

Post by rantakari »

I noticed that if I bomb soviet airfields in first turn and then save game, the aircraft losses dont show up in the losses screen after turn.

(But I think the aircraft are really destroyed/damaged so that it is only a minor thing anyway)

It is generally impossible to save in the middle of a turn; the game recalculates stuff everytime a game is loaded. Not only the losses you mention, but supply&readiness, railroad conversion etc. You can also move units, save&load and then plot them.
So do not save games, particularily not PBEM games...

MagnusOlsson,

It is perfectly safe to save in the middle of a turn when not playing PBEM. The only thing lost is the losses report. The losses from player directed air operations are permanent and will be saved along with any plotted moves or any other moves and production changes. This is not the case with PBEM games where virtually everything is reset when you reload the game from a save in the middle of a turn.

so that solves it.
