Defence on a river hex 70% ?

Post by Telumar »

The manual says attacks from a river hex are multiplied with o.7. It says nothing about defending from a river hex. I think the defending strengths are also multiplied by 0.7. Am i right?

AFAIK: Nope

Defending on a river doesn't penalize you.

But the defender's equipment fires back afaik, maybe this is then reduced to 70% while the defensive values are not affected? Would the toalog command line bring light into this issue? Or Jamiam?

I think by "defender" here they mean overall, not the back and forth attacking/defending that occurs thousands of times within a combat.
