Old Adanac game compatible ??

Hi all,

I have the old Adanac original game and I have several questions

1.- I want to know if i can make it compatible with the Matrix Games one ?

2.- I have tried to download the patch and it asks me for a serial number , can matrix provide one ?

3.- I may be for Pbem play compatible with matrix one ?

Any suggestion ?

My copy is: "Campaigns of La Grand Armee 1805 & 1809"

I don't know if it's compatible or not as that was not one of our releases. I would be extremely surprised if the patch would work on it, even if you had a serial number. I'll ask Frank and see what he thinks.

Hi, you know, I've never tried it. There are differences between the two but the scenario data should be the same. So it should be possible to PBEM between an Adanac and a Matrix version but I'm guessing that the patch wouldn't work. Certainly not 100% sure about that though.

I was sort of hoping patching my old game and give it an other try.

I have the same copy 2002 software version of the original ADANAC game

The key point to see if the patch works it is to try it but it asks for a serial #,

which shoul I use ?

As it asks for a serial number it would be impossible to patch the old game.  I believe the data compatibility remains however.
