Need Clarification

Just started playing and I have a question:

When the manual suggests strongly that the Soviet sets up combined armies, 1 tank div, 3 inf div does this mean 4 of these army icons in close proximitry.

Or as I think it means. Transfer units within a army/tanks corp to contain 1 tank division, 3 inf divisions?

If so, is it best to add inf to a mech corps or transfer tanks out of a mech corp to a inf corp.

Help appreciated.

This is what I have done so far.


If so, is it best to add inf to a mech corps or transfer tanks out of a mech corp to a inf corp.


Since you'll lose the mech corps very early in the game (they are changed back to ordinary armies) it really doesn't matter, but later when you get tank armies you generally want to keep infantry out of those.
