Versions 1, 2 and 3.

Post by matt.buttsworth »

I have versions 1 and 3 but do not have version 2 to see if all the changes which have been made are truly positive which I doubt.
Does anyone have a zip file version of version 2 they could send me.

Since no one volunteered to help:

I don't have the full/official 2.1 version Matt, I have a stripped down 2.1 package (minus the junk), but with a beta version of wir.exe, version 2.110. I never saved the official 2.1 version of the executable. If this is still of interest to you let me know and I'll email it to you (its big, 1.2MB).

yes that would be fine if you do not mind posting it. thanks a lot.
The possom wir version produced by Paul Watley is also exceedingly interesting to look at. It is a completely different version of the Russian army, less so the German army and different maps. It may be more playable than the standard 3.101 version although I am testing that at the moment.

It does indeed look good. There seem to be a lot more russian tanks and artillery in there than in the "original" scenario, not to mention all those cavalry tank armies... I certainly could use all those russian tanks and artillery pieces in my current pbem game, which unfortunately has slowed down to pretty much real-time... <img src="frown.gif" border="0">
