I'm a huge Harpoon fan; Need a question answered please

If I've owned every version of Harpoon (classic, classic 2002, H2 , and H3) ............will this Harpoon 3 ANW impress me? What is different besides the multiplayer possibilities....I'm mainly a single player anyway...thanks for any input[&o].........I'm on the fence deciding what to do...

This ANW version has fixed a number of bugs.

You can review the list of changes according to AGSI.

Also, you can see a partial list of bugs that I believe were fixed from the H3 version to ANW on StrategyZoneOnline.

For me, the three biggest bugs fixed are:

1) Aircraft logistics now work. No more continuous repeated attacks with unlimited ammo dumps. 2) Sonobuoys deployed by AI work. I don't even know how many folks realized that the Orion / Bear that they ordered to prosecute a sub was virtually blind. Sure, they dropped tons of sonobuoys that looked like they were working, but, in reality, they were just cluttering up the map since they didn't function. 3) Ammo dumps for facilities work. SAM units can now reload their mounts.

Unfortunately, some pretty major bugs also got introduced during the release of ANW. IMO, the biggest ones were:

• Target list ignored
• ECM Boomerang - You gotta see this one to believe it. [:D]

Thanks for the fast reply Mr. Herman, I can see you take your Harpoon very serious. I never knew the souaboys weren't working correctly...and that boomerrang efffect is wild for ECM's...but I am a faithful HArpooner so I'll be getting this version also , and the updated classic when it arrives!
