German divisional escort companies

I haven't yet played a scenario that includes a complete German armored division, if there is one, but was wondering if the divisional escort companies are included as a maneuver unit.

Many of the combat accounts I have read include examples of regular use of the escort companies. They were often the only available reserve and seem to have been utilized in combat roles quite often. In over 33 years of wargaming I have yet to encounter a game that includes them as maneuver units, at least not one that I can readily recall.

I am at work and unable to access the scenario editor to look at force compositions. It may not be an important item in COTA, but I know for a fact that the escort companies were involved in vital combat roles in the Ardennes. The coming Bulge games should definitely include these units in a panzer division's TOE.
