thanks to Joe and Don

It has been a long time since we had a positive thread here. Instead of bitching how game is screwed and bad designed i would like to thanks to Joe and Don on outstanding work and keeping this excellent game improving by each day!

Also i would like to thanks them publicly on their help - both of them answered and fix problems very quickly in my PBEM game.

Don and Joe - many thanks!

Hi Speedy

How is the BTR/BoB testing going? It looks like another life stealer in the making! Is it much improved on the original? I cannot wait to get my hands on it. It will be the only game that can challenge WitP in my affections.

Hi goodboy,

Can't say too much i'm afraid but it is much improved on the original with regard to accuracy of units, planes, performance, tweaks, bug squashing (majorly). Much more to come.

I can't wait until it's our for everyone to see[:)]

Well thanks very much to you and the BTR/BoB team for all the good work you are doing. I am so glad that I found Matrix Games. I thought that the end of Talonsoft meant the end of proper turn based strategy. WitP and BoB/BTR will be clogging my hard drive for ever!

Actually I think Joe and Michael McFarland did a wonderful job. I'm not so sure about that Bowen guy, he screws up so much that down is getting jealous.

Agrred. Mike should be mentioned also. The guy is very knowledgeable and a lot of his results are not seen on the forum. Kudos to Mike. Thanks[8D]

I definitely agree!

Although I have one or two requests for Don & Joe:

Could you please fix the ridiculous I-use-and-lose-my-carriers-stupidly bug? Also, the Oops-I-forgot-to-set-retirement-to-my-BB-TF-within-Betty-range bug? [:'(][;)]

I'm glad the ole Nik posted on this thread. He's another lad that is heavily involved in support and well deserving of thanks. As a tester, he finds all my mistrekes before they get released. He is very busy.

Definitely agree with Pauk, Matrix, Don and Joe, Mike and the rest have done a great job of keeping this game alive and well. [&o][&o][&o][&o][&o][&o] Which is BTW the only game I play anymore.

It is true...if I didn't love this game I would simply drop it instead of offering suggestions for improvement. [;)]
