RE: v1.85a Patch Available

I am still having problems with the schedule calendar. Whenever I attempt to view the calendar for an association that uses team logos, the game locks up and I have to shut it down ungracefully.

<t> What a tragedy.&nbsp; I feel your pain, Frozen.&nbsp; I had a similar situation quite a while back.&nbsp; Same sort of numbers for the pitcher, Pitcher of the Year (my "Rick Vaughn Award") first year in the majors, number one with a bullet.&nbsp; Then...first game of his second season, first ...

RE: Release Candidate 3

<r> I just went through the post-season with one of my associations, and I think something is amiss. The budget for each team in the association (35-player teams) is $10,927,270. After the new season started, I looked at the lists of position players and pitchers. To my horror, I noticed that fully ...

Bump
Shaun, this is still happening in v1.83. Did you receive my association file?

Thanks, Shaun, you're a prince. I'll get it to you some time today. FYI, I have not upgraded to 1.82 just yet...

RE: Calendar won't load in v1.80

Thanks for the response...interesting. The schedules I am using are OOTP files, and I have been using them for many seasons...why would they go bad just like that? I think there may be more here than meets the eye. Shaun, any comments?

Calendar won't load in v1.80

<t> Shaun,<br/>
<br/>
Upgraded to v1.80. A couple of my associations experience a hang when I try to open the calendar. I get the "Loading calendar, please wait..." box, and it stops there. I have to close the program down with CTRL-ALT-DEL. I have other associations that do not have this problem ...

RE: Release Candidate 2 Available

Crash,

Thanks. I found that button, but it appears to be set up to use *.psc files only. I have a number of OOTP schedules in *.txt format that I have used successfully in the past. Is it safe to assume these are now obsolete?

RE: Release Candidate 2 Available

I can't find the feature that lets me assign a schedule to an association. Am I having a major brain-fart or is this feature gone?

Hadn't thought of that. I will try it. Thanks.

Problem with 177b patch

<t> Windows XP SP3. I have tried installing the 1.77b patch several times, and each time I do, I get a series of "decompression errors" that begin with the tables.dat file and go on indefinitely. I finally click Abort and the install stops. Now I have to re-install v1.77b due to the fact that the ...

RE: pitcher fatigue

<t> While akcranker makes a pretty good point, what if you're using something other than the 1-100 scale? For me, this is one of the real elegant challenges in the game; who among us has not been burned by leaving a fatigued pitcher in for "just one more batter?" There's a lot of things I watch for ...

<t> Thanx for the advice. Once I click OK, I am kicked back to the Front Office screen, so I can't really navigate to the next month in the calendar. Taz, did you maybe mean just sim until the first day of the next month?<br/>

Problem with calendar in 1.76

<t> I just noticed a problem with the calendar function in 1.76 with the 1.76b patch applied. When I try to view the calendar, it loads partially, then I get an error: "Error loading expansion pack. Error code: Permission denied." Clicking OK on the error just closes the calendar.<br/>

<t> I'll be 59 in a couple of months, and my favorite team for the past 50+ years is the St. Louis Cardinals. Shaking the hand of Stan the Man was one of my biggest thrills.<br/>

RE: New update available RC4

<t> Shaun, I installed RC4 and I still have two issues that I am not clear on. Plus one feature request, sort of.<br/>
<br/>
One--there is no "force" to 1024 x 768 screen res when starting the game, which results in a smaller on-screen presence. I normally run at 1152 x 864, so unless I manually ...
