RE: Avalon Digital? Go Fund Me Page

This is a computerized version of the old solitaire game Carrier by Victory Games. I have heard a lot of good things regarding this game on IPad, but have never played it myself.

RE: Russia In 1806

To confirm what tgb is saying, I started up this scenario and clicked on Russia. I could not move the Prussian units at all. I think this scenraio needs to be corrected to either not play as the Russians or allow you to play as Prussian/Russian forces together. Just my $0.02 cents.

RE: Russia In 1806

<t> Too bad. You're missing out on one of the best PC wargames out there, and it will only get better with time as they continue to update the game, as AGEOD always does. They continue to work on and improve their games for a long time after release. This thing is only going to get better and better ...

RE: Will Wars Of Napoleon be released on Steam?

They have said it will not be on Steam prior to Spring, if at all. Remember, you can always get the game here, then get a Steam key if and when it comes out there.

RE: Showing my age

Lol, I was thinking the same thing earlier when I was reading the manual. Who's idea was it to use that font? However, I guess we're lucky that the game is so good, that we are nitpicking the manual instead.

RE: How about a new game engine AGEOD???

If WoN is half as god as CWII? I think it's the other way around. WoN is IMHO, the best game they have put out to date. I love CWII, but so far, this is blowing t out of the water.

Haven't been able to lay this one too much yet, but so far, it works very well in this game too.

RE: Any early impressions?

<t> I have only been able to spend a very short time with it, but so far I believe this may be AGEOD's best game yet. Beautiful map and counters, battle tactics, a nice sized map that can be used for maneuvering around, and many new features. Again, my time with the game was very short, but I think ...

<t> I thought Marshall said there was file swapping during combat, so each side could pick chits, commit the guard, call for reinforcements, etc.?&nbsp; I know it would make the game slightly longer, but it really makes sense as combat is a major part of this game and extremely important.&nbsp; If I ...

I can handle the missed war, it really doesn't matter.&nbsp; However, I also noticed that we do not have to use a password.&nbsp; Only game I am in where I don't need one.&nbsp; Hopefully this will not be a problem.

Yes, but he is talking about a battle.&nbsp; He had a battle, where he controlled Sweden against GB, however, he never saw the strength of the British forces before, during or after the battle.

<t> GAP program will not allow any bids higher than 30, to prevent people from bidding too high just to get the country they want, and ruining the game.<br/>

Intrinsic Cavalry for Russia?

Didn't the Russian I, II and III corps have calvary units allowable in the Corps, with the I Corps holding 2 Cavalry and the other 2 holding 1 each?

Was this changed based on EiH? I have never played that version, so it could be.
