<t> Hi chaps,<br/>
<br/>
After resolving a .dll issue to get this new exe to work, I get a new error message which says "there is an error with your serial number as entered". I only ever get this message when trying to use the "Opart3XBb" exe, not with the regular game. Anyone encountered this ...

RE: 'Opponent may have reloaded (x) times'

<t> Well I may as well say that I'm Mr.&nbsp;Macgregor's opponent. I think the reason he is getting this message is that I have been having some problems with TOAW III freezing on my computer before I start the turn proper, so am occasionaly having to restart the game and reload, that could be the ...

Should work if you press "Print Screen" and then paste the image into Paint, or some other graphics program. This is what I always do.

<t> I'm currently playing this one PBEM as the Germans (A Century of Warfare version of TOAW). My air interdiction is crippling for the Soviets, but it is rather slow going, grinding forward taking significant losses.<br/>

RE: Event Variables or??

This is good news. I was hoping that at some point in the future the event editor would get overhauled and made much more user friendly. As it is it's a bit of a nightmare, IMHO.

RE: Event Variables or??

<t> Yeah. At the moment we have one Event Engine Variable which can be used for the kind of thing you describe. What I think would be neat is to have mulitple EEV's, which would provide a great deal of extra possibilities with what can be done with the event editor in adding variability to scenario ...

RE: Just been looking at the sys requirements...

I downloaded, installed and successfully ran the GGWaW demo last night. There were some slight delays etc whilst playing, but nothing too drastic. Expect me to pop back into this forum at the end of the week to ask for a PBEM game. [:D]

Yeah, I'm sure you're right. For the time being though I'd still like to try and get this to work on my current setup.

Has anyone managed to run this game on 256MB RAM?
