RE: COTA: The Campaign

I'm pleased you all like the idea. And, Rooster, that map looks perfect already! Not a bad idea to start modestly with a few scenarios... Maybe when the time is ripe we can have a poll which scenarios to include.

A certain Call of Duty 2 tournament called Euro Domination inspired me to work out a similar tournament for COTA. Have a look at this: <URL url="http://www.eurodom.co.uk">http://www.eurodom.co.uk</URL> to learn more about Euro Domination.<br/>

I think you both need the same save game. One of you should mail the saved game to the other and both open the same one...

RE: Possible Bug?

<t> I had the same experience. I was the joiner and played with a friend. At the same time we were using Google Talk for voice communication. I also noticed the delay then and asked my opponent to turn up his speakers. I could press 'Air Strike' and hear the bombardment via his speakers via Google ...

RE: Why do I lose objectives?

<t> Is it not so that you have to leave one of your units within range of an objective?<br/>
<br/>
That is something I wanted to ask: can't an objective stay yours even if you leave it unattended, as long as enemy units don't capture it (back)? Sometimes i just want to get an objective and move on ...

Making COTA more accessible

<t> In games like Rome: Total War there is a short description of every unit type you can select. Part of every description is against which type of enemy unit it is most effective. If you don't know a lot about all the estabs or unit types (like me) included in the game, you don't really have a ...

Continue orders after rest

<t> A feature I miss in COTA is the following: When a rest is over let the units continue the tasks they got prior to the rest. Then you don't have to reissue the orders you gave the previous day (including all waypoints). Especially if you let several units rest, it can be difficult to remember ...
