Only Chungking remains in chinese hands. Japanese army is camping the city for years now ( I play the 41 scenario). But it seems that, despite being outnumbered, out of supply and daily bombed, my forces can ...

RE: 31st August 1943

<t> Yes, I am reading your AAR with great interest.<br/>
<br/>
I am in quite same situation in my current PBEM., playing July43, regrouping my forces to launch THE offensive and to challenge the KB.<br/>
<br/>
One thing I notice is that you have great successes in your sub warfare. <br/>
What ...

RE: 30th August 1943

On the paper, it is a huge force, but don't you fear the air coordination penality with a task force including 2 CV + 2 CVL ?

<t> Ok guys,<br/>
Seems you all agree on not doing such thing with these CVE.<br/>
I ll use then only ‘regular’ CVE to protect my landing TF….<br/>

On a separate note, and talking about weird squadron modification, I have something strange with a respawned CV.<br/>

<t> I am ready to make the final step for the big US Navy offensive in Pacific (PBEM June 43)<br/>

RE: Back in town

According what I saw on your sit map, and what I read regarding % of chance for submarine to spot/attack ennemy TF, shouldn't you regroup all your subs in one TF if in same hex.... ?

RE: the Heat

<t> <br/>
Idea I get in my currernt pbem, but not yet experienced, to counter bombardment TF is to lay mines not in the base hex (as if set to no escort bombard, BB will avoid getting closer to the shores to hit mines), but to lay these mines in the previous hex on the TF path to its target or on ...

RE: VMF Squadrons Upgrade

<t> In fact I was believing (dreaming) that upgrade path for VMF squadrons would have been F4F->F6F->F4AU and then, when enough Corsairs in the pool, units will upgrade directly to it, not waiting for summer 43 to be equipped firstly with F6F….<br/>
