RE: The NEW FLEET Command Vs. HCE

<t> The "new" FC has only simply been updated to be fully compatible with XP, IIRC. I have been playing FC since a little after it came out on and off, with the NWP mod once it was available. Just recently purchased HCE. HCE is head and shoulders better in terms of realism, IMO. I did not like H3 ...

RE: My generals NEVER fail activation!

I've had several activation failures I can remember from Howe and Gage about a dozen turns into a PBEM in the 1775 campaign.

RE: Norm Koger's Distant Guns: Russo-Japanese War sets sail

Apparently a Direct X update has fixed the CTD problem a few were having.&nbsp; I have the game and enjoy it very much.&nbsp; I wouldn't call it bug ridden anymore, I think it's in a perfectly enjoyable condition as is now.

RE: Starforce!

I plan on buying SH3 soon and am curious, if I ran the SF removal utility every time after I exited the game would SF only be on my system during the time I run the game? I will not buy SH3 if SF has to be active on my system in between.

<t> Thanks, they really should make you a spokesman Herman; your AARs got me interested and here you are in a different forum answering my questions [:)]. I think I'm leaning towards H3, seems to be more of a simulator as someone else commented.<br/>

RE: A Freeware Spaceflight Simulator

I've tried it before. Seems quite authentic, and has a hell of a learning curve. Despite my fascination with space flight, I discovered I am not an orbital physics type no matter how hard I try.

RE: Harpoon!!

<t> Bump. Any news?<br/>
<br/>
And as I understand Matrix will only be working with H3, so is Harpoon Classic going to be worked on any further? I'm just starting to play the Harpoon demos, and it seems to me like H3 is more of a simulation where you command a TF or three and Harpoon Classic is ...
