<t> I have played europe in flames for 2 days, some shortcomings of units really ruined this good scenario<br/>
<br/>
the Allied airplanes keep attacking my air bases or ships, in suicide way, they die in hundreds every turn, my loss is minimum<br/>

RE: Fire in the East-possible PO enabled v found

<t> as I said before, last year I played as axis against PO russia in this game and won the game before the Dec 1941. The old AI was feeble because of one main reason, they stack huge groups in one single hex, thus my force could easily round them up and eliminate all units in that single hex. If ...

RE: Fire in the East-possible PO enabled v found

<t> I played that fire in east last year , I played as German against PO Russia, the AI was too backward to make any mentionable resistance, I occupied almost all Russian land before even Dec in computer +2 ...<br/>

<t> thank you for the attention.<br/>
<br/>
I have played 1940-1943 North Africa scenario as Allies for 2 days,now it;s turn 56, everything goes very well this time, in maximum I have to wait for only 10 mins even after a very bloody battle turn.<br/>
still a weakness about AI, as Allied, I ...

RE: bunch of problems for III version

<t> erik, I have sent saved file to Ralph email,but for Dixdiag I still don't know how to make it after reading the link. "start " button where it is? "run" button?<br/>
<br/>
in saved file, I found a writing " problem caused by 78 art battalion", so maybe the crash was caused by that specific ...

RE: patch fix reconstruction problem?

<t> I tested extensively in Tunisia 1942-1943 80turn scenario, I made splitted engineer unit die in sucide attack, I abandoned 2 German paratrooper battalion units,1 panzer unit, non of them appear in expected reinforcemnt list after 5/6 turns.<br/>

can Fire in east play solitair?

<t> I know Fire in east is designed as PEBM game, but I really can't play 400 turn games with opponent in 400 days. I tried to play solitair with ACOW version, it was much too easy for me. Now with new potent AI, I want to try playing solitair again. Do you think it will still be too easy for human ...

patch fix reconstruction problem?

<t> I applied beta patch , and made a test with some shorter scenarios, (scenario more than 200 turns just freeze dead with this patch). turn 1, I abandoned 2 Axis units, in expected reinforcemnt file no such units appear, I go to turn 2, check that list, still no recontruction notice . I also made ...

RE: bunch of problems for III version

<t> I am very pleased to see the immediate reply of Erik, I guess he is one of the carders in charge of matrix projects, it's true that Matrix has the best after sale service, as I read in another thread that if one buys Civ 4, no one in Fraix company will read his comments , but matrix takes all ...

bunch of problems for III version

<t> though I am old client of matrix and bought lots of Matrixgames WWII games, I am not like hardcore supporters here in this forum who can't allow anyone to criticize new operational art of war III. I respect those whowork for creating this version, but to tell the truth I am still dissappointed ...

RE: will AI be improved greatly?

<t> I personally hope it's a game mainly for human-computer playing, not as human-human game, I love those huge scenarios of 200 turns(a lot in game depot site to download), I can't imagine a human-human playing by email for 200 turns.<br/>

RE: CS Package?

<t> 39.99 USd is a very fair price for a fan of CS like me, I will definately pay for it if it turns out to be a better game than before. I can even pay double of this amount, if it has some new hugh linked camapign which I like most. <br/>
