RE: Moving Support Units Back Up the Chain

When I read the support unit management sections I could feel my eyes glaze over; JoelMar's video made things a lot clearer. Now I will give it a go, see if I learned anything. Thanx!

Moving Support Units Back Up the Chain

I have a Soviet Front down around Savastapol that is not in contact with Axis. It seems to have collected 53 support units. How do I get them back to STAVKA?

RE: Building Russian Rifle Divisions

According to my notes Rifle Divisions can built after Jun 41 by merging 2 or more Rifle Brigades. The 2 brigades belong to STAVKA, have movement points remaining, and are in supply.

Building Russian Rifle Divisions

It is Jan 42. Moscow is surrounded by Rifle Brigades. I would like to turn some of those Rifle Brigades into Rifle Divisions. The manual says to highlight the units in question, then press "b" or press the "build unit" button at the top. When I do nothing happens. What have I done wrong?

[ANSWERED] Start Menu

When the game first boots up, the start menu is visibly smaller and has only the exit game button.

If I check for updates, the start menu will boot up normally, larger, with all buttons visible.

What have I done wrong?

Feature request: Add a "return to port" button to all task forces. Missing from task forces on patrol. Especially wanted when trying to manage submarines on patrol.

RE: AI script bug ?

DBB Lite is compatible with the AI. The DBB A & B & C are intended for head-to-head play. The AI does not recognize many of the new bells & whistles. That's why I play Lite scenarios.

Spanish air force operated them into the 60's. As a kid vacationing on the beach near Valencia in '68 I saw a trio fly over. As I remember, they were slow, very slow.

HUCE - Scenario Editor

The Scenario Editor button does not seem to work on the HUCE opening Game Menu screen. When I push it, nothing seems to happen. The other 5 buttons seem to work. I'm using Vista.

RE: HUCE - Window boxes incomplete

<t> Thanx for your quick response. I have a Vista machine and I couldn't find any registry in "Tool Admin", for example. Where do I find this Tool? BTW, I'm a virtual computer illiterate, so messing with settings is scary. I'm sure I've had Harpoon on this machine before so I'm a little mystified ...

HUCE - Window boxes incomplete

<t> I just installed HUCE. Some of the window boxes are incomplete, that is, chopped off on the right. For example: when the course box opens, the right edge and bottom are missing. The "action complete" button is missing and the game seems to come to a halt. The "-" button won't make the box go ...

RE: Force Z

I usually let Force Z do its thing ... more often than not airborne torpedoes get at least one with damage to the second one. Current game they're both sitting in Capetown with heavy damage. Results vary, rarely finding transports, sometimes meeting SAGs, mostly they bombed and torpedoed.
