RE: Is there a late war incentive for the German player?

<t> From memory, Moscow has 3 hexes that need to be captured. I'm sure Berlin is similar, not sure about the other capitals though.<br/>
<br/>
However, I like these victory conditions alot, as it keeps the German player involved for alot longer than '42-'43, unless he has a total collapse.<br ...

Depending on the detection level (see Joel's post in this thread) you get a rough idea of the defense value of the defenders. The defender may also add reserves and you don't see that until you are committed to the attack. Support units might ...

RE: Short Scenarios??

This request may technically be unfeasible but it's worth a try!

Could we have a short scenario that's starts on June 21 1941 and lasts 1 turn, but has the option of lasting for almost another 4 years ?&nbsp;[:D][:'(][;)][:)]

To improve the AI to give it the feel of playing against a Human, I did suggest to the developers to digitise little Munchkins and then add them to the game.

RE: War in the East Q&A

<t> When I mentioned my preferred method of victory conditions a few posts above, it was meant to be the basis for dynamic points for dynamic victory condition.&nbsp; So each city would have base points then a random number of points added at start of game.&nbsp; As the game progresses, each hex ...

RE: War in the East Q&A

<t> People have mentioned that some German players will be tempted to give up if they have to be on the defensive for 2-3 years. What I have in mind is a sliding scale of victory points for hexes held but on a yearly basis.<br/>

Victory categoriesMajor victory, normal victory, minor victory ...

RE: War in the East Q&A

<t> I know WitE isn't WIR but in PBEM when German players can't take Leningrad before Winter '41, most of them give up and ruin a good game for a Soviet player who has taken time and effort to organise a good defence.<br/>

<t> The game looks beautiful but I'm just confused as hell by the counter symbols, the values on them don't mean a thing to me at the moment.&nbsp; Especially, I think I'm more confused when then Soviets have units grouped up 5 hexes deep, and I'm not sure what are support/artillery units aiding in ...

Looks great.

At the moment I'm just confused by the different counter symbols but I'll learn them when I get the game.
