RE: Russian reinforcements in China

Excellent and thank you very much. Makes perfect sense. I do like the compromise of allowing minimal supply so Russian units dont die on the vine but also prevents them being reinforced. Does allow for at least a shoe-string effort in China.

Russian reinforcements in China

<t> I am currently playing a game as Russia allowing the computer to handle all the others. In 1945 I invaded China (Manchuko and now China proper). Have advanced fairly far but I can not seem to reinforce units that have taken losses. I have plenty of HQs (Germany has already surrendered so freed ...

Works for me. Always plenty of other scenarios to try out while waiting. Thanks Hubert.

RE: Any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario?

Alas when I go to Options and advanced there is no disable game end date option. I also went to scripts and checked the various categories. to include victory, and no such option.

*Sigh*

Sorry

RE: Any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario?

As always in your debt. I really appreciate how well these games are supported and one reason I keep buying them.

I will let you know if I run into any problems.

In the meantime thank you so much.

Any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario?

<t> I decided to play a game as the US starting with the 43 scenario. I didnt notice I had picked a Race to Victory scenario and thinking I had more time played it on the conservative side. I am down to 8 turns left. Is there any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario once you begin it? Perhaps ...

AI and Difficulty/Computer Bonuses

<t> If you change the difficulty and computer bonuses does the effect apply to AI run countries on your side as well?<br/>
<br/>
For example playing as the Axis and the human player running the Germans and Italians and letting the computer play the Japanese. If you set the difficulty to "Novice ...

RE: FAILED(save_game_dialog:set_lists)

Found the fix! I went into the save game file and deleted the dat and sav files from the last save attempt that was short circuited by the power outage. Seems to work fine now.

Any way to recover data when upgrading?

<t> I just upgraded my Mac version to the new 2.2.5. In doing so I evidently replaced the older version. As a result all my units and upgrades, as well as leaders, for the campaign in progress seems to have disappeared. Looks like I will have to start all over. Is there any way to recover those ...

RE: Secondary objectives

<t> Just my 2 cents. It depends on difficulty level and all but yes, need a near perfect game plan to achieve all primary and secondary objectives. I think the secondary objectives allow the player to decide what is most important. For example achieving one may give you increased command points to ...

Japanese Ships Repair at Sea?

<t> I am nearly done with the US campaign on a Mac. I notice that many times damaged Japanese ships at sea and not near a support ship will recover some casualties, usually after moving, much like ground units. The American units dont seem to have this capability. Is this intentional, perhaps for ...

RE: 2 questions

Unfortunately this is a bug. I have had situations where the expected loss for the enemy ship has been 1, 1+ and even 2 and nothing happens. The attack is used up but there is no animation or sound.

Choice of Specialisations

So far have progressed enough for 2 choices. I chose the Higgins Boat over the Medic and Flight School over the Jerry Can. Are there any suggested choices in these 2 cases and what about future choices as the scenario progresses? How about choices for the Japanese campaign?
