RE: New MS operating system

FWIW, I'm using the Windows Vista Beta 2 right now and running TOAWIII with no real issues. Granted I am doing it in WinXP compatibility mode, but it seems to work fine, which I can't say for quite a few other games....

RE: Recommended scenarios in TOAW3

<t> FWIW, I like France 1940 (as the Germans), if you go in and remove all the reconstitution. Nothing quite as fun blasting through the Ardennes using your armor as it was meant to be used, breaking through the slow French and Brits and cutting them off... fun.<br/>

I will also put in a ...

RE: toaw without wmv

<t> Question about these movies... Why is the Talonsoft movie still in there? Was that required by contract or something? Having 5 movies is a BIT much, for future reference, BTW... Perhaps in the future you all could write to a file or something and have those movies not run if we've already seen ...

Request for Editor Improvement

<t> Please add a way to change all the reconstitute values for all the units for each side to the same value with one click. This would be much desired. <br/>
<br/>
Same with any universal values the units have... Anyway, I know it will be low priority, but it will make retooling some of the ...

RE: Game stops responding

<t> I want to second the mouse activity as a potential root cause. By clicking around a few times during combat in France 40, I am able to get the program to lock hard pretty often. I think this might be the root cause of some of this random locking. For the moment, I will attempt to refrain from ...

TOAW III Lock up and France 40

<t> On my Win 2000 machine, TOAWIII often locks up within the first 1 or 2 turns during the end of turn stuff. This is with the current beta patch AND with the original .12 install. This has happened on the Original Korea scenario as well as on the original France 40. Note that I haven't seen this ...

RE: A naval companion game?

Yeah, I think any sort of improved naval warfare would be very useful. It doesn't have to be incredibly detailed or anything, just better than the current model, which is relatively poor.

Supply Points

Will things like the max # of supply points, etc., be improved/increased? My War in Europe scenario really suffers because of this and more would be much desired. If that is improved, I will buy a copy :)
