RE: Supply Base Questions

Does this mean that all the bases that congregate around SEP1 should migrate over to SEP2 after day 2? What's the best location for bases? I was always trying to move bases close to supported units, but this seems to be wrong, at least for airborne bases.

Maybe that's my problem, I've been placing bases halfway between the supply source and the drawing units. I'll try the scenario again with bases where you say they should be.

Me too, in this scenario at least 2/3 of my units are completely out of basic supply by day 3 and, therefore, useless for any offensive actions.

Right, I see you're with me on this, and what's he doing talking about "strategically withdrawn," wasn't that more like a "rout?" I applaud the RN, and all the civilians that helped out, but it wasn't as if the operation was planned like a strategic withdrawal.

Number of units that need to exit

How do I know how many units I need to exit in order to meet the condition for attaining that objective? I guess this is probably in the manual somewhere. Could it be made part of the scenario briefing for those of us who are too busy (or lazy) to calculate the number?

RE: Attachments

OK Dave, keeping the focus on COTA, could you consider a way to attach an inorganic unit without having to give a succeeding command to the overall formation? Something similar to the reattach command for organic units?
