RE: map resolution - too small and too big

I'll second that.

Another minor issue with resolution...the button that toggles 7/8 res makes it possible to make it so the choices along the left hand side (general, map, units, sound, gfx and res) are no longer on screen, and then you're stuck. Would be nice to have a hotkey.

RE: Is there a complete scenario list?

<t> Tony, that's great. My old man became a "Kriegie" when he was trying to make his way back to the line when his squad got bypassed and they decided to rest by some haystacks that the morning light revealed to be German tents, and an Engineer outfit took them prisoner. <br/>

Is there a complete scenario list?

My father was present at the battle as part of "Easy" company, 2nd Battalion, 110th Regiment. I'm interested if there are any scenarios covering the initial phases of the attack along "Skyline Drive".

Thanks.

RE: Difference between games ?

<t> Depends.[;)]<br/>
<br/>
Having played both, but not very recently, I'd say the first game is a pretty good indicator of if you'll want the second. Battle animations are missing from the second game, and IMHO they should have been made optional, even if they were pretty humble affairs. <br ...

New Players due to 50% off sale....

<t> I helped host a 4Th MarDiv reunion some time ago and got to talk with some of the Marine Corps veterans of Iwo Jima...any group like that is going to have a lot of individuals with different opinions, but it's safe to say they were comfortable with the fact that they did what they had to do and ...

L2's "Bitter Woods" is worthy of a look in the Bulge game genre. Components are top nothch and it's very playable.

<r> I prefered SPI games back in the day, and drifted towards AH games towards the end of my golden age of board wargaming.&nbsp; I think it was a combination of SPI going under and the realization that the less complex titles might actually see some table time.<br/>

Wasn't there one done with Burt Lancaster narrating? I don't recall if it was good or not.
