All generals in war are butchers. But he was ahead of his time in regards to thinking about total war.

Can you include a mini-patch that would make every general available regardless at his historical start date?

I am having fun - the patch has been nice.

So far the ones in that range that i've found to be quite good are the following...

France 40
Dragoon 44
Gallipoli 15
Sino-Soviet 69

Any ideas?

Bloody Red Tabs is an excellent book, and incrediably well researched by Davies and Maddocks, and should hopefully help destroy the myth of 'chateau generals'.
