Is it possible to edit the OOB of an existing scenario?

New to the game - have completed the tutorials and then got crushed in Twin Valleys

I’ve watched YT streamers similarly be crushed

And on the steam forum there are other crush victims

Most people have said just another platoon of tanks would be handy

Can I edit this scenarios OOB to give USA ...

Thanks chaps for replies - I may avoid this nebula planet then if I need to manually adjust the civilians

Now that I’ve researched the ion shield and manually created a coloniser to get in there - does they AI have enough sense to send freighters and the like that have ion shields or do I have to manually start twiddling the civilian fleet?

I’ve sent a colony ship into an ion storm and yep it’s stuck - I’ve researched the ion shield module and have upgraded future ships but how the hell do I get the stuck one back?

another if i may gentlemen, i shall shortly be taking ceylon as a prize for the emperor - theres quite a large invasion force - is it best to have the carriers in 1 TF LRCAPing the invasion fleet in another TF, or just one huge TF with the carriers within?

thanks for reply - is it more effective to split bombers and escorts this way, forcing the opponent to effectively double his CAP, and hopefully bombing unmolested if he hasnt?

I have the DEI targets - do you chaps recommend just scooping all the fuel and sending it to the next front or is there a widely used 'fuel triangle' of take it from A, to B, to C
