RE: Question about difficulty levels

<t> No, I don't expect to win any particular battle 100% of the time, however, when the same kind of "anomoly" pops up several times in a row, it creates doubt. If you were playing craps and saw double 6 four times in a row, you would become concerned that the game was biased.<br/>

Question about difficulty levels

<t> I always fight as the CSA, with advanced rules. I have been able to consistently win up to and including the Major difficulty level. However, at LtC, I see some aberrations that got me wondering.<br/>

Thanks. That's certainly one of the wars/periods that we have considered. It definitely won't be our next project, though, since that's already in development.

Give us a hint?

RE: getting those much needed weapons as CSA

<t> I have always wondered why, when you capture a city, you never find loot as part of the capture. Capturing St. Louis as the CSA should give you lots of supplies since it was a major river port. Capturing Pittsburg should give you lots of iron stockpiled there.<br/>

<t> The overwhlming forces hit about middle of '63.&nbsp; By that time, they have drawn all my reinforcements to the west.&nbsp; I have tried keeping a mall army in Lynchburg purely to reinforce ANV, but even that can;t stand up to the number without artillary.<br/>

To be honest, I don't know about the supply issue. And Eric has just left for a week of camping, so I can't ask him. But one piece of advice (for now, at least) would be to have fewer units in battle. If you have mediocre brigades that are at ...

CSA artillery

<t> I am very frustrated with this game. I am playing as the CSA, advanced rules, 2nd Lt. difficulty. I always play quick combat. The ANV is based in Fredricksburg and has two artillary regiments. I upgrade both from 6pd'ers to howitzers or ordinance rifle. <br/>

Back to the original message (although I do find the other discussions interesting), when can we expect the patch? I haven;t played the game in about a month because I have been waiting for the patch. Can't wait to get started again.

Any idea?

Is it possible?

Is it possible to modify the order in which generals appear in the game? Stuart, Hampton and other cavalry generals appear very late. And Longstreet too. Just wondering.

thx
