I agree with adjacent units contributing to the defense. I'd like to see AT units help in the defense of armor attacks just like the artillery units do now.<br/>

For aesthetic purposes can we get SU-122's and SU-152's for Soviet AT units ...

You'll pardon me if I think your coding problems, although I empathize and I've been there to some extent myself, are not to my mind the complexity you claim they are. This is a rules-based engine, and for the price asked compared to other gaming ...

<t> So, I bought the game and I have only been through 3 of the videos so far, but I just had to take time out to say how impressed I am with even these videos so far! They are awesome! Steve you did a fantastic job! If the tutorials end up being even half as good as the videos I've watched, I ...

Awesome News!

<r> Strategic Command 1 is my all-time favorite game! I can't remember how many nights I stayed up past midnight playing that sucker. Unfortunately, I could never get into SC2 because the isometric view just killed my experience. I mean I hated it. Since then, I have never found another game to ...

Impressions after a couple of days of play

<t> My gold standard for a good game is Strategic Command (the first version, not the god-awful travesty that an obviously deranged Hubert Cater dreamed up with it's isometric view, squares instead of hexes, and silly looking miniatures instead of nato counters). I played SC more than any other game ...

RE: going operational

<t> I'm actually very happy that this game does not include production. Production was actually the part of AT that I enjoyed the least. Too much micro-management. I want to be the general and move my troops around and fight battles, not a rear-area administrator.<br/>

I realize that a lot ...

RE: Letting a combat command attack

Thanks! I never thought of checking the Tech Support sub-forum as I figured it might be a game-play issue. Sounds like it is being looked at and that it does happen when you command at battalion level, not just regimental level.

I'm confident that Dave and crew will fix it.

Letting a combat command attack

<t> Playing the St. Vith scenario, I gave an order for CCA to attack the ridge just SE of the town. I gave it a FUP and that was it.<br/>

The ai decided to lead with a mortar company of one of the CCA's battalions, followed by a company of 57mm towed anti-tank guns. Needless to say, those ...

I saw where you tweeted (sp?) that you were working on getting TOW working on OS X? Is this for real? If so, this is AWESOME news!

UPS Store Rocks!

<t> I took the pdf manual to the local UPS store to see how cheaply I could get it printed. The guy that worked there was great. He printed it out in full color, front and back full size (8 1/2 " x 11"). Then, he showed me how to use their binding machine (using "combs") and I bound it. He charged ...

Stop provinces from building units

Is there any way to stop a province from building a unit? And, for that matter, why do provinces build units that I did not ask them to build?

What an improvement!

<r> I own COG and FOF, but was never able to get into either. I realize that, as I have gotten older, my ability to really get into a wargame has seriously shrunk. On the one hand, I want all the historical detail and realisim that I wanted when I was younger, and on the other hand, I find that if I ...

RE: Mouse Issues

I changed my video card settings to keep the aspect ratio when stretching. I also installed an apple patch for the trackpad. I loaded up a save game again and was able to play for several turns with no problems. So this issue may be fixed.

Thanks.

Mouse Issues

<t> Started playing this morning and ran into a couple of mouse issues.<br/>

The first time, I was moving around checking out my country, clicking on containers, right clicking on containers, etc. when, all of a sudden, my mouse wouldn't scroll the screen any more when I moved to the edge of ...
