Re: [1728.2] Grouped aircraft don't correctly change throttle after RTB

Aircraft needs to follow FP rules, if you want to manually change plot/speed/altitude unassign them from the mission and you can change the values.

That being right, why does the leader have a different behavior?

Either none follow the order unless you unassign and give a manual order or all ...

Re: Bug or WAD? - F-35, SPEAR and EMCON

The AIM-9X is launched at a distance of 16Nm. That is further than the assessed (AI) range of 10 Nm for the block-1. Therefore it needs guidance and it is called Lock On After Launch (LOAL).

Thanks for the detailed explanation

Re: Bug or WAD? - F-35, SPEAR and EMCON

Same thing happening here (Build 1728.2):

Flight 1058, north of Iceland, is about to fire an AIM-9x (IR seeker).
As soon as the missile is fired, radar is turned on, even though everything is checked not to turn radars on under any circumstance.

I keep clicking on "passive" for radar, but it ...

Re: One Bug Free Version

Apart form the fact that no trivial software can be bug free, I think that the frustration arrives when things that were working are not working in new versions.

From the outside and without knowing the inner classes and interaction between them you sometimes wonder why adding a new feature like ...

Re: [1662] Time control UI bug

A little difficult to explain, but this happens in every scenario.

To reproduce-

-Load any scenario
-Go to 15x or Flame speed, or any speed
-Run one of the fixed time intervals from the bottom (15 sec, 5min, etc.)
-When the time interval is finished, you will no longer be able to use spacebar ...

Re: [WAD] ADM-141A TALD not treated as hostile

There are all kinds tools a designer can use to make decoys effective to the mission and SAMs to react to them. If they aren't using them, feed that back to the designer and not the devs.

And that is why I said I was not calling it a bug!
I haven´t even asked for a different behavior, just ...

Re: [WAD] ADM-141A TALD not treated as hostile

I kind of agree with the OP. This has happened to me several times with TALDs

It's true that scenarios **could** have an area where everything that enters it is considered hostile. FINE. So I'm not saying it's a bug or even a bad design.

But I think that it's not unreasonable to think that a ...

Thanks!

I use them when there is an issue with AAR for a particular plane/group, trying to set/reset/force the "fuel state" & "fuel state RTB"...

... but I know that AAR is an area that is being worked on. If it works better I wouldn't miss that section.

Re: [1487] WRA Automatic Firing Range issue

Hi,

any news on this issue? Or has anybody found a workaround?

I know I can change manually my WRA, but what about the "other side"? that is, without changing sides and spoiling some of the fun :)

Thanks!

Re: [QoL] UI Keyboard Input

It would be really useful if the unit/group info panel (on right side of the main form) did not consume the "spacebar event" and, instead, passed it on to the Main Form. So many, many times i pause the game (or a pop-up pauses the game) and i change some speed or depth or sensor info on the unit ...

With roughly one million commercial users, Command “gets beat up by the community to a degree that the defense industry just can’t do,” said Barrick, the Marines instructor.

A million?

I feel like there are about 20-30 of us doing the "beating up".

Do bearings change when activating/deactivating "Draw units at true altitude" ?

I have noticed these "bearing changes" when zooming in / zooming out and with that option checked.
