Things I'd like to change

<t> 1. Able to disband own units. Good grief, once you hit out of supply, the game just keeps on building militia and it won't let me disband (or does it?) - so once I'm out of supply, it is almost impossible to get back to where I'm building more supply than I need.<br/>

RE: What does WAD mean?

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Ahhh thanks!, I'm familiar with a similar phrase "Working as intended".&nbsp; I have played such games as EQ.&nbsp; That was always their reply when a really bad bug hit.

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; But as I said, I had maybe 4-5 up there one game and was getting kills or chases almost every turn to the point he had no more raiders.

RE: Grant as Unit or Army Commander

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In my latest game I made Grant an AC as soon as he hit the board.&nbsp; Then I made Sherman one as soon as he hit the board.&nbsp; It helped with someone being injured or resigning right before Sherman came online.

RE: why build ironclads?

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Because against ironclads they are supposed to be better?&nbsp; I had 4 fleets of cruisers against 1 fleet of ironclad and got lambasted.&nbsp; I am not basing that on any scientific data but it seemed that a fleet with an ironclad in it did a lot better even the cruisers did ...

RE: Kentucky Neutrality

<t> I go in pretty quickly. If CSA has already violated, more the better, but if not, I still go in. I like to get Paducah and then depending on the array of forces, go ahead and hit Humboldt in Tennessee. I can usually go down the Mississippi pretty quickly and then it just depends on when I turn ...

RE: best use of sub commanders

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I believe another good reason is if you win (and sometimes even if you lose) their command rating has a chance to increase. So, the more in there, the more trained up and capable leaders you have?

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; By 1864 I usually have to watch my consumption.&nbsp; In my current game halfway through 1864 and winning, I have about 500 supply.

RE: How do you keep the game from bogging down into WW1?

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; In my current game against the AI, I did do a blocking manoever - the troops I feared would come down didn't come down, now whether that is because of what I did or because the AI decided not to, it still gave me a nice little victory in a crucial battle.<br/>

RE: Finished the game on easy.

Oh. Yeah, it went CSA.

Edit: So, you can attack Ky first and still get the state. Well, there went all incentive for me not to attack Ky early. [:D]

RE: Finished the game on easy.

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Unless I'm doing something wrong, I'm using 25 garrison right now for Kentucky alone and I don't have all of the regions.&nbsp; The little red horse means it is in danger of partisan trouble, right?&nbsp; When I try to move any of those, I'm threatened with partisan trouble ...

What difficulty? And why was Paducah so hard? How was he able to get in so fast and build it up?
