RE: Cavalry entering towns after updating to 1.1

The picture above shows Russian cavalry unable to enter a friendly town. This is using the most recent patch. They are able to move into it by strat movement, but not by normal movement. They also can't enter clear hexes that belong to the enemy.

RE: Cavalry entering towns after updating to 1.1

<r> Same here. Also cavalry units are not able to enter clear hexes that are enemy controlled, even if leaving from a hex containing friendly infantry. 1.1 seems to have fixed some cavalry issues, but crated new ones. <br/>

RE: Is it just me?

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Most importantly though. Paris is the key in knocking out France but not the end mean in itself. You must in addition take enough cities and/or inflicting enough casualties to persuade France to quit. What this means is you have eventually to fight and grind the French army ...

Weird thing happened on French surrender

<t> I had two stacks of German units in France, down near the Italian border. (I was going to use them to attack Italy from the west.) After France surrendered, the entire northeastern part of France became German (the border adjusted itself), but the southern part of France became some weird ...

RE: Is it just me?

<r> There's no need to declare war on Holland (I think it speeds up U.S. and Italian entry). Instead, go through Luxembourg and Belgium only. There are 4 impulses in August, 1914 and there are 4 hexes that you need to take in order to get adjacent to Paris (or close to it). Advance your HQs each ...

RE: Is it just me?

<r> I think a France-first strategy is the way to go for the CP. I've tinkered with a lot of opening set-ups and moves and the most progress always seems to come with knocking Belgium out in the first few impulses and getting adjacent to Paris by the end of the August turn. The AI will then strip ...

Naval Refit Bug?

<r> AH has 5 naval assets available. Prinz Eugen is in port with 2 damage points, however there is no option offered to refit it. Is this a bug or does it intentionally reflect the limited ability of certain countries to repair ships?<br/>

Cavalry Bug?

<r> Pages 28 and 29 of the manual indicate that cavalry must stack with infantry before it can enter an enemy hex (without first being activated). It also states that cavalry cannot enter enemy hexes that are rough, mountain, forest, or marsh. Yet, I have been able to move cavarly into all of these ...

RE: Minor Country HQs

<t> It must be very slow, because Bulgaria has been an active member of CP for months and I have only seen arms refits. There is a land connection of CP controlled hexes through Serbia, although Serbia has not yet surrendered. (The Serbs are holding on to Scutari for dear life.) I can transfer ...

RE: Supply Issues

<r> They are nowhere near the coast. Here's a screen grab. Notice how the French stack was moving through German controlled hexes and converting them to French. The stack, if attacked, shows a readiness of 9, but it has been behind the lines for months!<br/>

RE: Supply Issues

No, there were no French cities to draw supply from. In fact, one of the French stacks moved all the way to 15,12, the hex northeast of Luxembourg.

Minor Country HQs

Bulgaria has joined the CP. It starts with one HQ and two activations. It uses both up in combat. There is no option to build more HQ activations and Germany/AH can't transfer Industiral Points to Bulgaria. How does the Bulgarian HQ get replenished?

Supply Issues

<t> In the game I'm currently playing as the Germans, I have cut off a couple of hexes containing French units. Same Hex Combat

In a few of my games, I have seen units from both sides occupy the same hex after combat. Eg. French units occupy Paris with German units in the same hex after combat is finished . Does this only happen in forts and how long can this last for? Are both sides considered supplied?
