Supply flow thru allied territory

Is it just me or does supply not flow thru depots in allied territory?

When I hit "2" you can see France is brimming with supplies but even with depots built it does not seem to migrate into Bavaria.

RE: Patch out for those who are wavering

Never judge a game by its release. Judge it by how that release gets patched up (eventually).

Whether you buy now or wait to see; the scope of this game is hard core porn for the Napoleonic gamer. Give them credit for that at least.

RE: Austerlitz Scenario Randomaly Locked Forces?

In my game the French were being froze as well as the Austrians.

French broke Austrian morale in 5 turns with a good PBEM opponent who could do virtually nothing with locked Austrians. We were only playing around, but its not much of a scenario from what we saw.

RE: Austerlitz Scenario Randomaly Locked Forces?

<t> Ok, the troops involved just unlocked after two turns. Can't see any explaination in game. I guess this is some new activation issue (new use of the locked thing)?<br/>
<br/>
We are playing under the activation option where you don't know who will be active in the next turn and who won't ...

RE: Austerlitz Scenario Randomaly Locked Forces?

<t> No. Two examples: <br/>
<br/>
I sent Kellerman with a cavalry division to scout on the North bank of the Danube towards Vienna. While still inside Bavaria he gets locked with all his units. Cursor says "will be released in one turn." He was not released the next turn.<br/>

I also have ...

Austerlitz Scenario Randomaly Locked Forces?

<t> We have been messing around PBEM with the Austerlitz Scenario.<br/>
<br/>
As French I am having forces lock in the course of moving them around. I am familiar with wounded generals being locked while they recover and with forces not being released at start, etc. But never seen anything like ...

PBEM 2 Player Force Control?

<t> Game looks great.<br/>
<br/>
One question: it seems that in a 2 player grand campaign the Allied player can only control the forces of one nation. That means the French will be fighting AI coalitions mostly?<br/>
<br/>
This seems like a real weakness if it is the case. Shouldn't the Allied ...

RE: Trench warfare

<t> As far as ASW: you didn't really need it as much in 1914. Subs were terribly slow on the surface (slower than most all warships) and virtually immobile and blind under the surface with poor endurance while under. Being invunerable under water was the one thing they had going for them-- but they ...

Moving CP ships out of Europe, etc.

Love the game, can't wait for the first patch.

Question:

I can't seem to move Central Power's ships from the Atlantic to the Pacific or even from Europe into the Med or the further Atlantic?

Also, are there endurance limits for ships at sea?

CS Upgrade woes

Have reached April 1943 Grand Campaign. Game has been great. Only one problem, the CS Chintose and CS Chiyoda simply refuse to upgrade tp CVLs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried moving them to different facilities disbanding them, etc. with upgrade turned on.

<t> Yes, never seen a lot of help from AT guns. And air support is not sustainable when the Allied air in Burma is pounding your bases to dust one at a time.<br/>

Fighting allied tanks

Any thoughts on dealing with allied tanks in Thailand/Burma with Japanese ground forces?

They seem to own me, even in Jungle hexes.

RE: Patch 06 - Public Beta - Build 1108p5 updated 24 July (2nd part)

<t> Correct me if I am not understanding how its suppose to work exactly, but with the newest update my long running PBEM game has just gone to August 1942. My Helen factories have failed to ungrade their production to the newer model. <br/>

Aren't they suppose to do this automatically? The ...

Thanks for the beta, I just installed and the game no longer runs in a window like the previous version I was using. Kind of clunky.

RE: Yee gads -- night bombing!

<t> Something is clearly amiss with the night bombing in general. And when the "counter" is to put single engine day fighters on CAP at night, the dynamic just gets stranger.<br/>
<br/>
The idea that day fighters are going to disrupt a night raid is just as weird as the incredible effectiveness of ...
