Got it! I didn't check the Install DirectX because I thought I didn't have to, checking my dxdiag. Why is that? One should always get the DirectX if offered by a game?

I was able to reinstall and downloaded the patch. Thanks a mucho.

First off, I downloaded the game and was able to initially run it. That was yesterday. Today, the game wouldn't load. I had access to the manuals but not the game. So I tried to uninstall it ( for reinstall ) but there are files that I'm denied access to. So I'm stuck. What to do?
