RE: New LCGs

<t> So many demands for LCGs... I had always wanted to see more linked campaigns too but actually released were way too few imo, which might be due to the fact that creating a historical LCG is an extreme amount of work... IMO the best way to get a new LCG is to start creating one by yourself. After ...

New Maxims

<r> In addition to the original ones, I have copy and pasted several 'new' quotations into the Maxims.txt file with the quotations you see in the load screen and I'm interested in further ones.. If anyone has some more exceptional period quotations from the ACW , i wanna hear of it <IMG src="http ...

RE: Jackson

I believe like the Catholic priest of New Orleans when he said in his prayer at the unveiling of the Jackson monument: "0 Lord, thou hadst to remove Stonewall Jackson, that the war might end."

RE: Wish List

<r> One more comment regarding detailed combat unit setup. Near start does make sense at the start of a game when unit containers for the most part haven't any good logistical staff ratings & unit morale is comparably low in relation to morale values in latter part of the war, so the units' movement ...

RE: Artillery (detailed combat)

Prefer long range artillery as well. The howitzer's advantage is the indirect fire damage upgrade, which unfortunately has no impact on non-howitzer arty

Never rally garrison

Why are fort crews still send to detailed combat when option turned on. In other terms, why does never rally garrison only count for city garrisons? They are ordered to stay in their fort thats why i place them there!

RE: Quick Combat dilemna

Afaik you can only diminish the defenders' morale bonus for detailed combat. By opening ACWConstants.txt and changing the value for 'DetailedCombat_DefenderMLBonus' to 0 f.e. Guess changing this parameter won't affect quick combat. No idea otherwise.

When the CSA side has irregular units like Partisan Rangers and Bushwhackers, where are the federal irregulars like the Jayhawkers..?

RE: Wish List

Ok, at least thats what the authorities claim, because non-proffessional 'relic hunters' in many cases have destroyed the site before real archeological excavations could have been made

RE: Man killed by exploding Civil War shell

I think it's because of the dangers of private search for wartime relics why it's restricted in Germany. I mean you cant take a metal detector and go into Huertgenwald or to the Seelow Heights in search of artefacts out of the blue here, at least not legally
