RE: Let me get this straight...

<r> <QUOTE><s>[quote]</s>Areas without roads or railroads. I've noticed that there are a few areas in West Virginia, Kentucky, Arkansas and Missouri that don't have any roads or railroads going through them. What are the movement costs for going through those territories? I assume movement costs ...

RE: MMO Group of Wargamers who also play MMOs?

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I've played many of the MMO's.&nbsp; I had no experience whatsoever in MMOs when I picked up EQ right after its second expansion.&nbsp; It was still fun then and the idea of having to get groups of people (30+) or more to accomplish things really appealed to ...

RE: The strange,the weird..start here

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Do you restart a lot?&nbsp; I get discouraged when I have to restart a game due to really weird occurrences and it kind of taints the game for me, then I start over.

From what I have tried so far, it seems that the penalty for the US Invasion on turn 2 is much smaller (even if the state goes completly over to the CSA) than the cost of having to dig the CSA out of Kentucky if the CS does its own turn 2 ...

RE: Some Comments on Forts and a question on editing

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Also, I lose 100 points during the 2nd turn and I just saw a strategic victory go by the wayside because I wasn't at the 1000 point limit.&nbsp; You're taking the whole game into your hands hoping you'll get enough initiative (which I didn't) to win enough territories to get ...

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It's the first time Kentucky has decided to "go for me" so it was a surprise I didn't have to take the regions.

RE: Important notice - bug

<t> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I agree with Jamiam.&nbsp; I thought if a unit was moving into a 100% scouted territory, then it at least had some chance of being spotted, the higher the percentage scouted, the higher percentage of being spotted.<br/>

I could even agree that it would be a somewhat ...

Bug or does this happen?

I am not getting the "Overrun" menu on some of my units in disputed territory. It's Kentucky. CSA went into Ky first and I have moved units into un-taken territories. I moused over looking for the overrun on some of them, but it does not come up.

Have you ever lost an AC?

<t> I haven't yet, but the AI against me has. The CSA lost Albert Johnston at the end of round 1/beginning of round 2. It seemed the CSA in that battle under achieved.<br/>

I think I read that losing a general hurts the battle. Is that true? And then if it is an AC, then that would truly ...
