RE: What is the level of command?

<t> From brigade - division - corps - army, depending on scenario. You can issue orders at different levels. <br/>
<br/>
The basic idea is that you give orders to one level down, and if you want you can take command of your subordinates and give orders directly to units under them. So for example ...

Quatre Bras (and Ligny + Wavre)

<r> Congrats on releasing the first DLC! The battle is nicely portrayed, following the historical accuracy of the series. Once the "french sucking lake" is fixed, it's very good scenario!<br/>

Now that the rest of the roadmap for Waterloo is revealed, there's one thing that comes to mind ...

Oh the good times. SP is something that needs to be redone, as 20 years later, there still isn't any game to take its place.

And hello Sami! Long time no see!

Excellent manoeuvrability does not fix the lack of firepower. Or lack of any armour (defence). I think it's quie OK in Pacific.

RE: Open field combat

<t> Let me disagree.<br/>
<br/>
Armoured vehicles in open are targets in modern combat, where modern ATGMs and FCSs deny the advantage of movement and speed that was very much still there during WW2. I think the game simulates this rather well. Armoured vehicles fighting out from cover against ...

RE: "Repel the Japanese fleet"?

Another try:
- Sank all 3 carriers
- Sank 2 of 3 battleships
- Sank all but 2 cruisers

Defeat?

Hopefully in the patch the requirements for victory are clearly stated (sink X amount of ships - sink all ships... etc., not just "repel Japanese fleet")
