After one week shipping on both sides is feeling the pinch. Allied shipping losses are in front but with most of them being 1-point ships it is the Japanese vessels which lead in the points lost category.

I’m confident that the Allies have lost the following classes of vessels.

Some things to be aware of:

1) Bettys and Nells are torpedo bombers. They will carry a normal bomb load even at low altitude if they are set to naval attack with torpedoes but there are no torpedoes available. Kates work great that way as well. As torpedo bombers, they can operate from a level 2 ...

Only 2 hits were received during the Armed Merchant Cruiser clash, but the first one was critical and must have found something sensitive. The damage is very bad and fires are raging. I’ve sent her north to meet up with her partner, but her chances of survival are slim.

Wow, I have to say that he's getting more bomb hits from plane types that generally can't find the ocean let alone hit something in it than I've seen in a LONG time. I mean P-26? Really? 100lb bombs from a fighter are doing that much damage? And Seagulls? Again, that much damage? OUCH!!!
