How come he doesn't show in Leader list when looking for a better leader for USMC in the Solomons?
I'm on turn 12 and and have Lt Col Paterson, thought try out Vandegrift.

Was just looking thru my leaders on and around Guadalcanal and appear to be missing U.S. Marine Major General Alexander Vandegrift.

Checked the Pool and no sign of him.....was he not a big player in the Solomons?

I am playing AE ATM and always played WITPwith andrew browns maps and relevnt scenarios and love it.

Can an individual HQ like say South Pacific or Pacific Fleet be player controlled and all other HQ's be AI controlled?

Seem to remember WITP letting you control a single section.
