RE: ATGWiki- Questions about Editor

<t> Thank you very much Vic.<br/>
<br/>
Once it is explained, it makes sense. I'll play with it a bit more to see if I'm getting it and then put it in the guide.<br/>
<br/>
I'm not sure I'll be able to pursue the editor for a month or so, but as soon as I get back. I'll pick it up.<br/>
If ...

ATGWiki- Questions about Editor

<t> As I work through the editor, there are many functions I know little about. To write a decent guide, I'm going to need help, so if anybody in the AT/ATG community has the answer to these, please let me know.<br/>

Here's the first one (of many):<br/>

with the latest updates of ATG, you can set the AI to AI-, this will make for a kinder, gentler AI as you go about mastering the game.&nbsp; Good luck!

ATGWiki- Editor Manual Request for Help

<r> I really like AT, but one of the things I find make it difficult for me is that I don't have the time I'd like to dig into the guts of the editor. I figure I'm not alone and the complexity of the editor, which also makes for it's power, can be intimidating. My feeling was that if there was a ...

<t> As everyone else has said, this is great work.&nbsp; I think this option will allow for better design possibilities for AI vs. human games, which is my interest.&nbsp; I really enjoyed your description too!<br/>

I can also see it's potential for human to human games.&nbsp; As is, it adds ...

What is the most "Gamey" exploit you have experienced in AT?

<t> It often happens in the life of wargamers who play human-to-human games that they face opponents who should have been (or may are) crafty defense lawyers. These opponents know the cracks in the system so well that they can get away with the stretching or breaking the laws of physical reality or ...

RE: how to stop train movement through neutral territory?

<r> Hi Adam,<br/>
<br/>
As you can see, there are arguments for and against using trains as early transport. I sympathize with you, I think the main purpose of trains was for transportation. I suspect that a mod could be written to fix the problem if you don't like it.<br/>

If you want to erase cities from an already existing map, it's fairly straightforward.<br/>

1. Once the map is made, go into edit.<br/>
2. Go to the city you want to make disappear<br/>
3. Click "hex" in the editor bar<br/>
4. Click the pink hex on the top right ...

I edited the above instructions. (And, deleted a bunch of other typos... a bad habit I have of drafting and redrafting combined with being tired. Thanks...)<br/>

I only dabble with the editor, but your posts prompted me to try and figure out how to do what you suggested.<br/>

RE: Katushya movement type

I think the Katushya unit represents just the rockets and launchers.&nbsp; Trucks have to be bought separately to transport the launchers (at least the trucks are reusable). Perhaps the confusion is that the Katushya has a picture of a truck on the unit.
