First, thanks for putting this together!

Question: Can I assume there are only AI scripts for Japan and that I can't play Japan vs. AI Allies? (or if I do, the AI will do nothing). Sorry if this was already answered. Thanks again!

I found this to be a pain too. Just scrap it for the tech OR use it to guard your home system.

Edited: ok - I found out Java 6 was not 32bit so I installed that. Now I get this error message:

Great idea, really agree and feel strongly that this needs to change. I currently don't design any ships because it is too complicated/too much work - it's the only thing I don't like about this game.

What about the corruption slider? Did anyone try to use this to offset the mega-funds (which I agree happens - something must have changed because I was always struggling in previous versions).

Thanks Erik. It was the only time I got bombarded so I can't say it is scientific - but I did lose both leaders very quickly. Does anyone know what the tech needed for Planetary shields? Just curious.

My other problem is the fact that they can do so much damage with all those defenses in place - and the fact that they would focus on the planet and not the defenses.
