Scrapping at spaceports or at current location... benefits?

what do I gain by wasting time flying to a spaceport to scrap my ship? Do I recoup credits? if so how many? half? less?

well i can't get it to work and i tried following the instructions not sure what i did wrong....

(i believe the game might ALWAYS be in a window... a window which fills the screen and cannot be resized but is technically not fullscreen)

my only reason for wanting to run in a window is so that alt-tab doesn't cause all those lame alt-tab issues which fullscreen video card usage usually triggers....<br/>

i always resize windows to be fullscreen anyways when playing a video game ...

so far in my 400star galaxy after years of exploration only black holes are scenic... a dozen ring planets don't seem scenic at all... or am i just not aware of where the ...

how do i modify a race? i can only access the editor in game... so how do i edit something before the game starts?&nbsp;

how would you play single player? just make one of the team's computer controlled (in battle but not out of battle)?
