Seems kind of harsh that once a treaty is signed 1000s of troops are left to rot. A withdraw mechanic would be nice

In my current game im playing 8*8 400 star galaxy. Ive been in the editor and many of the AIs freighters are out of fuel, so it seems effect smaller galaxies too.

Its a bit of micromanagement but as stated above just add more fuel cells to your designs. Also make sure you have a couple of resupply ships dotted around your empire
