Island Troop Limits

<t> Many of the islands in the game have limits on how many troops may be based there. However, it is not clear how this troop level is determined. Many times I have landed on a small island (6,000 troop limit)and have discovered that my 4,000 troop unit is too large. It would seem that guns and ...

RE: Bombardment?

I see . After the Bombardment TF has arrived, you need to place its ships into your Amphibious TF so that thye can help protect the transports. Thanks

Bombardment?

How do you actually do a bombardment? I mean apart from the obvious: setting the TF to bombardment. Do you need to do anything else? My BB in their Bombardment TF's seem to be floating around not doing much while the Amphib TF are getting slaughtered.

Thanks

Sometimes your transports will re-embark the troops by themselves. If they don't, though, you can't order them back on the ships unless they're completely empty of men and supplies. I had the same thing happen to me when my invasion ...

Evacuation from Beachhead?

How do you evacuate troops from a hot beachhead? I invaded Roi Namur and found myself shock attacking level 4 fortified Japanese at 1-99 odds. I need to get my troops off, but amphibious TF have their 'load troops' button greyed out. What do I do? Thanks
