RE: issuing another command to retrofitting ship will make retrofitting impossible

<t> Sorry for the belated reply, I was without internet access for a couple of days. Not that it matters now, it seems you've already addressed this issue in the 1.0.3 beta.<br/>
<br/>
Anyway, the ships in question were in position over a space yard, so they were either being retrofitted or queueing ...

issuing another command to retrofitting ship will make retrofitting impossible

<t> I had this a couple of times. I give an order to a ship before I realise that it's being retrofitted at a yard. The ship starts doing what it was told to do, thereby aborting the retrofitting process.<br/>
<br/>
The info panel shows that the ship's design is still the same as before retrofitting ...

As for total profit .. It seemed to me the number in the upper-right corner is the same as in the Summary Report.. As I said it can be +20000 while in reality cash gets high in the red changing for -10000.. -20000 at a time, I tried to leave it ...

RE: possible exploit: trading cash for profit

Doesn't anyone else agree that this is a bug? Or am I the only one experiencing this?

Besides, the numbers above just examples, if that wasn't clear. I've tried with less money, not more, but this alone seems to be enough for the devs to look at, doesn't it?

I have this friendly empire. I can sell them 190k in return for 200k, which is money for 10k more money.

RE: A.I and gameplay balance issues with 1.2

<t> The colonies the AI would sell me cheap are those usually that are either very small or surrounded by my other systems therefore strategically not well placed for the AI. Those would cost around 10-40k. The AI would refuse to sell me more established planets even though the prices would be still ...

I also think that techs and colonies are greatly undervalued by the system and the AI parts with them way too easily. Buying a colony for ...

RE: Savefile with Mining Stations becoming detached from their planets.

I've seen mostly ports detached from their home planet, in which cases there weren't any constructors involved. But I hope the developers will be able to figure out the problem from your save file.

role of different ship classes

<t> I have a question about how different ship classes are handled.<br/>

In certain other games ship class usually imposes limitations to hull size, number of components, weapon caliber, etc. In DW I see no such thing, so if I'd create a huge destroyer and a small capital ship with the same ...

<t> I also found that on-planet spaceports have the retrofit option while off-planet bases (mines in particular) don't.
