I know a lot of wargamers like to micro every unit possible in order to overcome perceived AI deficiencies, but I also think many wargamers like micro-command and control a lot too.

TLDR: This is obviously my preference, but I think scenarios should refrain from task orgs that go below two levels ...

No, I never received an answer to this or a few other questions.

I moved on to something else instead.

I haven't looked closely in a long time, but I think some of the OOB information is stored in a different set of definitions not outlined by the current diagnostic views and tools.

Imagine your credit balance as coolant for your nation-state. Overheat your spending (construction, army size, etc.) and you run out of coolant and the engine seizes and breaks. build government welfare like hospitals, education, etc. and never push a zone above the level of your welfare infrastructure no matter how many times the governor asks to upgrade.

Looking for the table that contains the key-values for "Unit Id" (i.e., His. Unit ID) which is used in Library SE_Data and Table 227) Unit Logs.

I could not locate the table that lists the details about units with their canonical names and ID values.

Many table names in the libraries are preceded by the term "Flex".

What does that term mean as opposed to tables that are apparently not Flex?

Further, are tables that are mutable marked or named differently than tables that are immutable?

Looking for the table that contains the key-values for "ReinfTyp" which is used in Library SE_Data and Table 173) Flex TOE Types.

For example, 26 is Infantry, 27 is Machine-Gun, etc.

However, I have not found the table that defines these keys.

I've never lost a game since the game's release. In fact, I'm not sure it's possible to lose. Somewhere in the deep old posts here is an AAR where I was pushed (due to revolts) into a single city hex. I then fought back to clear the map. Players quit, they don't lose.

Seems like a tactical issue. I wouldn't call this a tactical level wargame. It requires something like combat engineers too.
