Re: CC Last Stand Arnhem- Is it possible to play Multiplayer over a Wireless Router?

Others will be more able to talk about the CC specifics, but in theory it should be possible. In terms of creating a server, I think the term used in the lobby is Host. The client would then connect to the IP address of the hosting machine. Using TCP is more likely to be able to route through the ...

You would need to contact support so they can move one of the registrations to a different account login for MP.

Re: Ww2 game and editor

Depends on the kind of game you mean. Strategic or Tactical.

Battle Academy 2 has a robust random map generator for both skirmish and that can be used in the map editor.

Re: Names and Portraits

It does a wrap based on the number of portraits, so with less portraits you get some more mixing up (IIRC), but if you add more it will pretty much just be static.

Re: Names and Portraits

It looks like that is how the portrait logic works - it uses the name as the base of the index. This is coded, so I'm not sure there is a workaround. Sorry.

Re: Game does not launching....

My guesses:

+ something is preventing the mss32 dll from being correctly run. Likely AV.
+ Windows Folder Protection is enabled? It might be that the prior game EXE was given an exemption (and the editor EXE is likely unchanged).

Re: Game does not launching....

That error log shows that the game has shut down cleanly, which is very odd.

Is it possible that this is an AV issue? It looks like the firewall is stopped the game from connecting to the internet, but that shouldn't stop it running.

Re: Where do i get the passwords to accept TOAW challenges?

You're best off asking this in the forum for the game itself

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... hp?f=10664

Generally MP passwords are shared out of band, usually by people who know each other. If you don't know the challenger, than I imagine that game isn't for you :)

Does the game launch if you remove the error.log file? How about if you rename the whole folder (in Documents/My Games/CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst)?

Glad you like the system. I'm not sure what game you are referring too (most keep a full log of all messages) - it might be better to post in the game's forum.
