RE: Expansions

<t> I'd love expansions where it would allow the entire 1941-1945 war for a specific army group (south,centre, north) etc. It would allow for manageable amount of micro and yet not be overwhelming. Yes, I get that the same army groups from 1941 changed and but the general geographic boundaries would ...

RE: Graphics detail?

<t> The graphics are much sharper now. Map is much better as well. Honestly, just these additions are worth the 80 bucks alone. Plus, the fact that they now have every Division's insignia in the unit detail screen. This game should be priced at 150 dollars there is so much research here! Its a give ...

RE: Gary Grigsby's War in the East 2 is out now

Any point in holding onto War in the East 1 and its DLC? I'm just wondering who is deleting the older game, or if it has any value still in terms of picking it up and playing after War in the East II.

If I had one wish for WitE2 it would be the ability to bomb enemy rail hexes or capacity. A glaring omission in the game IMHO, not sure if it is in WitW as I haven't got around to trying it out as yet.<br/>

Is it just me or are turn times exceedingly long?

<t> I have most of AGEOD's games and it seems the turn times in this game are closest to Vain Glory of Nations than any other game. In other words its too damn long it is frustrating. 3-4 minute turns and it seems to get a bit longer by the turn. Civil War II goes by like lightning compared to this ...

RE: Is there an "undue" button?

Thanks Vic. Yes I made a mistake initially was not used to the move system. But it makes perfect sense given the rather large (in a good way in this case) kilometer area of the tiles to keep it out. Loving the game.

Is there an "undue" button?

I find myself sometimes accidentally moving a counter that I did not mean to. Is there an "undue" button akin to that in War in the East/ Decisive Battles with the respective restrictions?

RE: masterpiece

Bit the bullet spent the 65 bucks (+ shipping) for the physical copy. It hurt but then so did Gary Grigsby's Games. Was unsure but I love the strategic layer that is missing in other games. First game in the series that I own.

AI's Competency

<t> Greetings,<br/>
<br/>
I am considering buying this game. I owned Scourge of War: Gettysburg and 2nd Manassas. I was not impressed with the AI in those games however. I play most SP though on occasion Multiplayer. I am a busy professional so SP makes more sense with my schedule.<br/>

Strange because my Game Splash Screen (main menu screen) says 1.0.2 Beta 1. I started this game with the new beta patch. Just in, I uploaded the wrong one, here it is, and i will upload my saved game.

RE: Thanks for the Beta patch; some questions!

Another question if I may. Does it make any difference tactically if I am the one attacking an enemy force rather than defending from an attack?&nbsp;

Thanks for the Beta patch; some questions!

Is it just me, or has it been harder to take cities by assault? I seem to be getting much more casualties assaulting even small towns. Thanks!
