I know it's not a good idea...i ordered my BC and CAs to bombard only with the biggest calibers (30miles distant). Those 200 cm guns have a range of 35miles...so i risk to be badly damaged...i ...

RE: The Stone and the Waves

Nice ambush, lots of planes you won't be seeing tomorrow, not to mention damaged planes and pilot morale. Got to say, those Jake losses are totally off the wall. They must make good cannon fodder.

I really shouldn't browse this AAR during class, it gets me everytime. [:D] That said, I don't think Ito has much to fear from a few Australian rowboats. [;)]

RE: Fighting for surviving

It looks like Kaga actually took both the torps on different days. [8D] Still, that's what happens when you keep KB parked somewhere.

RE: Here at the end of all things... (Jap Armaggedon vs Nemo)

Nice raid, even without the KI-264s that is a lot of first rate aircraft torched for no cost. All those damaged aircraft could end up being a liability if the base is really that over stacked, and under staffed.

What is the replacement rate of the P-51H in this scen?

RE: The new smash hit from Gary Grigsby 'WISA'

What do us geologists do best? Good question, I think it's a tie between trying to pick up chicks by educating them on the value and properties of Cummingtonite (it's a mineral) and rating bowel movements on the volcanic explosivity index.

RE: IJA Code Breaking

<t> I highly recommend you pick up Japanese Intelligence in WWII by Ken Kotani. It is definitely the best English language book on the WWII Japanese intelligence arm, and it holds up to many of the Japanese books on the subject(as they tend to be fairly dated). I think this book will really open up ...

The Ki-201 is the Japanese jet fighter. As for escorts, I personally haven't reached super E's yet, so I won't comment. Kudos for the very interesting and thoughtful AARs Nemo. Your downfall ones are some of my favorite reads.

I highly recommend Tennozan by George Feifer. It's an excellent and well researched book on the invasion of Okinawa. Posting from phone so won't get long winded...
