I found the chart on page 38 0f the manual helpful. I can't think of a time where I have used the fast speed yet so I can't say for sure how much of a difference to expect.

Screen shot problems

I have always used Fraps in the past for taking screen shots but find it won't work with BFTB. Using the print screen button to save to clipboard doesn't seem to work ether for me. My operating system is windows XP.Has anybody run into this problem ? ....any help would be appreciated.

I think you did the same thing I did.....you used the address that was already in the address box which is the wrong one.Delete it and use ftp://xftp.jrc.it/pub/srtmV4/tiff,zip. Works fine for me
