4.6.279 Bombard Units lose automated bombarding after deattachment/reattachment

In at least 4.6.279, Bombard capable Units lose automated bombarding capability after the unit has been detach, such as movement/manual fire mission, etc. After reattachment to organic command, the bombarding unit just sits there doing nothing forever.

<r> Hello,<br/>

Another example of many occurrences of ir394 making super-diety like stands. IR394, always down to 3 guys, rout recovering for hrs under constant overwhelming superior assaulting numbers not being destroyed, disbanded, or etc.<br/>

Checking scenario editor, ir394 has ...

Prefer v4.6.270 vs 4.6.272

<r> Hello,<br/>
<br/>
I much preferred v4.6.270 vs 4.6.272. Casualties seemed much more inline with historical rates for a intense battles.<br/>
<br/>
Version 4.6.272 like prior versions allows what appears to be tendency to allow the most negligible type units to have such huge impacts as to ...

RE: Potential Secure Objectives Bug

<r> Hello, <br/>
<br/>
from the prior post, computing the approximate victory condition ratio is:<br/>
<br/>
approximate friendly cp= 2+8+8+4+8+2+16+8+8+8+2+2+2+4+2+8+8=100<br/>
approximate opposing force cp= between 1 and maybe 8<br/>

The estimated ratio is (approximate friendly cp ...

RE: Potential Secure Objectives Bug

<t> If the OPF combat power number indicator is one, then definitely, it is approximately 90:1. For a single OPF unit a combat power number indicator less than 5 would not be sufficient to challenge for control in the current state. Multiple unit combat power would have to be sum up to a value ...

<t> The formula is summation of 2^(combat power) of friendlies divided by summation of 2^(combat power) of opposing forces must be greater than 10<br/>

Assuming the OPF tank has a combat power of 5, it ...

RE: bomdardment and friendly fire protection

<t> Hello,<br/>

The manual states the outer yellow box is the bombardment perimeter. While it is fuzzy, i do not think it should be 300 meters fuzzy, particular from a close support unit at regimental size. The nearest unit is an assaulting infantry company whose footprint barely extends ...

RE: At night TLOS seems improbable

<r> Possibly, but that would not explain this figure. Also the units are not bombarding, at least there is not bombarding task. To bombard someone need LOS, and the Nefers are the only ones. They appears to be directly firing, with TLOS within their respective range circle.<br/>

RE: At night TLOS seems improbable

<r> Upon further observation it appears that for the Nefers, TLOS is limited only by the range circles distances. Terrain and time of day do not appear to be taken into account for TLOS and shooting. In this state, nefers are extremely valuable in a totally unfair manner for the axis.<br/>

<r> Likewise, the other rocket unit has TLOS, but nothing else. Both rocket units has TLOS but none of the other units do. Though linear LOS and area LOS tool show no LOS.<br/>
