RE: Disbanding Air Units

<t> I know that thanks Lobster.<br/>
<br/>
I was wondering why you can't disband air units. For example in the Campaign for North Africa I have had 2 half strength Me-110 units slowly building up for ages and I'd have liked to have the ability to disband one to bring the other up to strength ...

Disbanding Air Units

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, did a search and couldn't find anything.

Is there a hard-coded reason why we can't disband air units that have taken a beating to get their equipment into the pool to beef up other units?

<r> An important point I think Larry missed re: sea landings and I'm not sure if you are aware of it. <B><s></s>You can only land where there is a port symbol.<e></e></B> So the enemy knows all of your potential landing points and will be waiting. <br/>

Allied opponent for Campaign for North Africa

Like Devoncop below, I'm after trying to rectify some mistakes from my current game, also would prefer to play the Graziani Raid start.

PM me if interested.

Larry: You can use an engineer unit to get your lads onto that island - I've been testing it out ready for my own island clearing operation and it can be done.

RE: mega larger scenarios

<t> TPOO: First of all I'd just like to say that I'm glad you are putting in the effort in making this great scenario better but when do you think a 'definitive' version will be ready? I've already started 2 new games since the new release due to you updating them and don't really want to keep doing ...

<t> No problem Larry. I will be making a start of this great scenario (again!) in a couple of days and the tips you give have been very useful the past few times I've started (here's hoping that no even newer versions get released in the next month so I have to start again, again!).<br/>

RE: Air Staff Assistant

<t> I've noticed it happening in my PBEM game of the same campaign too. I always check my air units at the start of the move and have noticed that their missions have changed by the end of the move. It is a bit of a pain and would be even less of a pain if the Air Assistant wasn't such a numpty, it ...
