Re: Why won't this surrounded unit die?

I've had a group of civilians holding out in a remote part of Mindanao for over two weeks (this is LST's bottleneck mod). My opponent has just landed his third unit to force them out and they're still there. It must be driving him crazy, but he's been sporting enough not to say anything rude.

RE: Building Ship + comparison to warplan

<t> This is really more of an abstracted computer model/simulation of the war as opposed to a sandbox “game” experience. It makes a strong attempt to offer the player the real limitations faced by the leaders of the time, but still allows for bold experimentation within that framework such as ...

Watching with interest. I won't talk much in here because I'm playing my own game using this mod as the allies, and I'm following your opponent as well.

Thanks for putting this out here. There's not a ton of AARs from the red team for this scenario.

RE: Update 25/11/2021: Bottlenecks in the Pacific v1.3a

In Mundy's AAR he discovered that civilians can have an outsized effect on combat. I think you nerfed it subsequently, but it occurred to me that another solution would be starting them all in Strat mode, if that's possible.

What altitude is best for recon without cameras (or with for that matter)? As high as possible to avoid AA?

Phrased better, does flying lower generate a greater increase in detection levels?

All of the industrial inputs ...
